Airi was taking a peaceful walk along the boardwalk, her soft sapphire blue orbs staring off at the beautiful ocean in the distance. The young mocha-haired Ranger Nurse always found the sound of the roaring waves to be calming. For a few seconds, she thought about taking about visiting the beach for a little while. However, her thoughts were soon interrupted by the alarming sound of high-pitched screaming and yelling coming from the harbor. Without any hesitation, Airi rushes into the direction of the harbor on her two feet.

Upon making it to the scene, she notices a large crowd of people sprinting off a cruise ship with their arms flailing high in the air. "Snakes! Snakes everywhere! Run for your life!" A older woman shouted out, almost tripping over her luggage. What? Snakes on a cruise ship? She questions to herself as she moves closer towards the ship. She manages to stop one of the passengers along the one to gather up some information. According to the details, a spawn of Silicobra made their way onto the cruise ship somehow and the captain has locked himself instead of his room leaving the passengers to fend for themselves.

Airi immediately grabbed her radio from around her waist to contact any other Rangers, who may be nearby and able to assist her with this dangerous task. If no one responds in time, then she will have to face the challenges alone with her Pokémon. She takes out a Poke Ball to release her Salazzle. Despite it not being a snake-Pokémon, she is still a reptile. Perhaps, she will be able to help reason with them.

Luckily for Airi, Ever was actually in Slatesport on other business when he got her call for aid. Despite being fairly close, he hopped in the back of his Corviknight before taking off in the direction. Upon looking down, he was relieved he had made the call to use Rook to get to the beach; getting through that panicked crowd just to get to the beach would’ve been a nightmare.

As he neared the beach, he didn’t even wait for the great steel bird to completely descend before jumping off. Luckily he wasn’t too high up, so he didn’t even stumble from his little stunt. "Rook, keep an eye on things above,” he told the Corviknight, getting a nod in return before the steel type took higher to the skies.

Trusting Rook to do as he was told, he made his way over to the fellow ranger. “Anything more you can tell about the situation,” he asked as he studied the cruise ship. It was a bit weird that Silicobra had ended up on the beach led alone on a cruise ship. Perhaps they had been looking for shade. It had been pretty hot lately after all. Even hot for Pokémon who preferred the heat.

Rather or not, she answered, he would head on top the cruise ship, releasing Flash from his Pokéball, trusting the feline Pokémon’s hearing and sense of smell better than his own. Once they found the snake Pokémon, he would replace Flash with Celestia or one of his other pokemon, considering an electric type wouldn’t really do well against a ground type in case they ended up getting attacked.[break] AIRI WATANABE

Airi was quite thankful when the other ranger arrived on the scene. She didn't expect them to make it to her so quickly. Perhaps he was already in the area? In the past she found herself having to wait a lot longer for backup. "Thanks for coming out to lend a hand. So far, I only know that this ship is full of Silicobra and the captain has locked himself inside his room. Not only do we need to contain the Silicobra, but we also need to rescue the captain, too." She informed him. She wished she had more information to share with him. but she is also still trying to make sense out of everything else going on around them.

She followed the other ranger's decision to board the cruise ship with her Salazzle trailing closely behind her. Her deep blue eyes were glancing over at the unique Pokémon accompanying him. Well, that's a Pokémon that she has never encountered before. Under other circumstances, she would have inquired about the mysterious creatures. Right now, the two of them need to take care of the snakes and rescue the captain. "I'm Airi, by the way." She introduced herself after she noticed she had failed to introduce herself to him earlier.

"I have an idea of how we can gather up the Silicobra, but before I do it... we need to think of a way to contain all of them. The last thing we will need is for them to slither off the cruise ship and find their way inside the homes of civilians," she stated as she continued to walk alongside the other ranger. "Any ideas?" she asked, glancing over to make eye contact with him.

It was really nothing; he had already been in the area. Of course, even if he had been at home, he probably would have rushed over. There was just something about Pokémon being in need he couldn’t ignore. Probably his desire to PROTECT those around him no matter how he tried to act otherwise, because he couldn’t just show those around him that he was someone who actually cared about those around him.

The bit about the captain was unexpected, and he had to resist the urge to sigh. Hopefully he wouldn’t be a crying mess when they got to him. Pokémon he could deal with, crying not so much.

“Right, our top priority should be the containment of the Silicobra. There wouldn’t be much point in trying to rescue the captain if he has some fear of snake-type Pokémon and does something drastic to keep himself safe,” he pointed out as they made their way on to the cruise ship.

Upon hearing the introduction, he would briefly cast a look at her over his shoulder before returning the introduction. “It’s nice to meet you, Airi; my name’s Ever.”

For a bit, silence would lapse between them, giving him time to think of what could be done to remedy the problem. He had some ideas, but he needed to think of how well they would work out. Before he could think too much about his ideas, the young woman spoke once more, pulling him out of his thoughts.

He considered the question before responding. "Well, I’m trying to put together an idea, but it would require me making use of Flash,” he commented, gesturing to the Zeroara before continuing. “Zeroara are known for generating electricity by throwing their paw pads to create a magnetic field; I’ve considered doing that and having them create a magnetic field around the Silicobra like an electric cage. It would keep them in place, and with their immunity to electric attacks, we wouldn’t have to worry about them being hurt. Unfortunately, I’ve never tried what I’m thinking, so I’m unsure if it would even work.”
